No Frills continues to bring Sydney the finest selection of underground and forward thinking drum n bass from our humble beginnings in 2005 we have continued to deliver some of the finest International, National and local artists from Raiden, Robyn Chaos, Dom and Roland, Paul Blackout, Mark N, Tech Itch, Limewax, Centaspike, Speakerwrath, Noisia, Psidream, Motion, Shards, Gridlock, Break and Fierce, Evol Intent, Bulletproof, The Upbeats, Dose, Phace and Misanthrop, Commix, Alix Perez and Lynx, Sci Fi, Upbeats, Bailey, Spor & Ewun, Calyx & Teebee, DJ Hype, Xample and MC Daddy Earl, D-Bridge, Phace & Noisia, Cause 4 Concern, Logistics & Cyantific, Cern, State Of Mind, Axiom, Presha, Dust, Klute, Future Engineers, and Chook.

2009 and we joined forces with renowned Bristol promoter LOCUS and together we are carving out a solid platform for quality drum n bass in Sydney. And what a fantastic year it has been, with our monthly residency @ Phoenix Bar every 3rd friday of the month, our regular events with both the Glasshouse and Loft on Broadway and a stint with 202 Broadway… we have never been so busy bringing you the finest drum n bass from around the globe on a regular basis.

No Frills also showcases the wealth of local talent that exists in Sydney. With our Annual Producers Showcase and Record Fair every year, where we provide a platform in which our local producers are able to come together and listen to each other’s progression, share tips and get to know each other. Whilst showcase the variety of talented DJs that make up the drum n bass community in Sydney.

Not content with simply doing gigs, the No Frills crew also organize our infamous Tearout Tours where we travel interstate for gigs with a crew, Having traveled for the likes of Dom and Roland, Bailey and Concord Dawn, Chris Su, SKC and Mayhem, Noisia, Basswars, Raiden, Black Sun Empire, SPL, Nymfo, Telemetrik, The Sect, 16 Bit. With our 12th and most recent Tearout Tour to Melbourne to see Kryptic Minds & Consequence this coming 24 April, followed by Tearout Tour 13 to Brisbane for Phace 2 May. The party never stops!

Not stuck to just one genre of drum n bass, rather we pride ourselves on bringing Sydney a top shelf selection of styles, that represent where drum n bass is at in the moment. With a quality over quantity mentality, we aim to deliver the finest dnb we can find. For YOU.

But wait there is more, this year we decided to pick up a few dubstep and garage tours kicking things off with the launch of local label Aquatic Lab as they launch their first album Aquatic Lab Sessions 1, Distance, followed by Canada’s Excision, the legendary MJ Cole, Zed Bias, Coki & Loefah and of course with a few new surprises in store in the new year.

We thank you for your support throughout The Nine and look forward to an even bigger year of drum n bass and dubstep in the futuristic year of 2010.

2010 is already off to a good start with a flood of artists ready to roll through Sydney, kicking things off with Sci Phi, Dom & Roland, Mayhem & Deep with a Liquid special for the month of April with guest DJs, Andy Sim of Thinking Deep Records, Soul K from Liquid Addicts in Paris and local boy Royalston who recently signed to Hospital Records.
